Here at Bigpeaks we hire our bikes so you can enjoy the Dartmoor National Park. Riding a bike is a great way to explore the beautiful area and within 5 minutes you are completely surrounded with nothing but nature. We are located within the Dartmoor National Park, so you can start your journey straight from our bike shop!
There are also quite a few popular cycle routes starting in our area and we are more than happy to supply you with more information when you come into the store. We also stock plenty of maps so you won’t get lost in the area.
We are committed to your safety so we always include a full package of gear to complete your bike journey! This means we supply you with a helmet, the necessary repair tools including a pump, a bike lock, a map of the area and some local knowledge of where to go to enjoy Dartmoor!
* When hiring for 4 days or more, the bike hire price will be reduced to £15 a day!

*** Tag-along can only be rented with an adult bike.

Terms and Conditions
A full day bike hire means picking the bike up at 9.15 am and handing the bike in at 17.00 pm on the same day. An ID is required when hiring a bike at Bigpeaks. A deposit will be taken from your payment card when hiring a bike, this deposit will be refunded when the bikes have been returned in good condition. You will be asked to leave your ID with us as a security deposit. Bikes that are returned late may incur additional charges of up to a full day rent depending on time of return. Insurance cover is not included with this bike hire. We will ensure the bikes are in good working condition to give you a pleasant and carefree bike ride. If you see anything that is not in order, we will take care of this if you tell us straight away when taking the bike for a test ride. We do not accept any responsibility for personal injury or direct loss suffered to any or the bike renters. At all times you accept that cycling has inherent risks and that equipment may fail.
