For those who don't know this is a 65Km ride comprising sections of track including some fairly rough terrain linked by mainly quiet country lanes. Some sections are quite hard and will have to be walked. Most sections are easily rideable. There are some steep climbs and river crossings by either ford or stepping stones.
The main area covered is Bovey Tracey, North Bovey, South Dartmoor, Denbury and Ashburton.

CORE BIKE SHOW Report

We have just got back from the 2010 Core Bike show. There were loads of new bikes and accessories to tempt you.

Highlights were:

The Launch of the new Eternity Seat post  from Hope which as expected is beautifully engineered.
They were also showing their new stems, Race X2 brakes,
Pink Tech X2 brakes, Custom made rotors as well as all their current range of upgrade products.

IBIS were showing their complete range of Carbon tech frames, which left Rob from our workshop dribbing over their Mojo SL.

Crank brothers were showing the new Joplin 4 Adjustable seat post which is available as either a lever or remote operated bar mounted version.

Fi'zi:k had the full range of high performance saddles on display and were demonstrating their measurement tool which helps you select the right model for on and off road.

Lezyne's new range of pumps, tools etc in loads of crazy colours were on display including the Pressure Carbon Drive that will go to 120psi/8.3bar and only weighs 82g

Fox had their 2010 range of helmets which are just so cool. Look out for the new Flux and Flux W for the ladies.

Cove, Rocky Mountain, Surly, Time, Tifosi, Cinelli, Kona, Sunn, Merida and many more.

There to was so much stuff there that we can't list it all.
Looks like its going to be another exciting year.

 We even managed to have a drink with "The Legend" Steve Peat (Down Hill world champion).
